From Pastor Johnson
Happy New Year! Because of the pandemic I have not been able to wish as many of you Happy New Year as if we were in church. I hope this Church Newsletter finds you in the blessings of the Lord. I want to begin by saying “GOD IS ALL YOU AND I NEED.” The Bible tells us that God has given you and me as Christians everything we need to live a godly life (2 Peter 1:3). Therefore, we need to let spirituality be our new year’s resolution. We need to find our blessings, happiness, and successes in the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the Sources of life for those who believe in him. I stop making New Year’s Resolution a while back. However, I will make a spiritual biblical resolution. I want to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not unto my own understanding; in all my ways I want to submit to him, and trust he will make my paths in life straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). I encourage you to make a spiritual biblical resolution. First, it will be based on the Word and God and secondly, it will aid in your spiritual growth. Try it. I ask that you pray for your church. I pray that God will give us all wisdom and strength to navigate through this present pandemic. I pray that God will keep us safe and I pray that God will heal us if we are hit by the virus. There have been some members who have been affected but have recovered. Praise God. Please be safe and remember to pray for one another and me as we strive to do what the Lord asks us to do. Love you all.
