Pastor William H. Johnson

Pastor William Herbert Johnson is the current humble pastor of Greater First Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Tennessee. He has severed the church in this position for fourteen years. Pastor Johnson is married to Deborah Kay Johnson. They have been married for twenty-eight years. God has blessed them with two lovely children Christy Nicole and William Daniel Johnson.
Pastor Johnson was educated in the Marshall County School system. He graduated in 1975. He is also a 1980 graduate of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. After working in the textile industry for thirteen years, Pastor Johnson enrolled in seminary. He graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995. While in Louisville, Kentucky, Pastor Johnson severed as a part-time chaplain at Norton Hospital and Kosair Children Hospital.
Pastor Johnson currently serves the Duck River Association as Moderator. He is also a faithful member of the Ministerial Alliance Association in Marshall County. He serves on the Board of Senior Citizens in Marshall County and he is an active chaplain at Marshall Medical Hospital.
Pastor Johnson strongly believes that love is the true characteristic of a believer. Jesus Christ says, so now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." John 13:34-35 (NLT)
