Psalms 149:3-4 Let them praise His name with the dance. Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. He will beautify the humble with Salvation.
The Purpose of Dance in the Body of ChristTo praise the Lord in the dance—Pslams 149:3To love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength—Mark 12:30To make His praise glorious—Exodus 15:20To rejoice and usher in God’s presence—Psalm 150:4To express joy and victory—II Samuel 6:14To willingly present our bodies as living sacrifices to the Lord via the dance—Romans 12:1MissionTo demonstrate the majesty, power, splendor and wonder of the Scriptures through movement. Through this we encourage the believer in his relationship with the Lord and draw the unbeliever to Him. We begin by encouraging ourselves in our love for God and each other.Through our dance and in all we do; we do it for the glory of God. We vow to teach, encourage, and inspire others to worship God through the use of the movement arts. Rather than just learning the dance, as a dancer, I will listen to the Holy Spirit and move as He instructs. Through participation in this ministry, we seek to bring ourselves closer to God through prayer, bible study, fellowship, and discipleship, while creating loving relationships within our ministry. We are not here to entertain – only to minister to others.As a Godly outlet for all those who desire to praise God through dance, we will visually interpret selected songs to express the message of God’s good news.

DANCE VISION STATEMENT
We believe that all people need encouragement, and our mission is to reach those that are spiritually in need, and introduce them to the endless possibilities they have through faith and developing a meaningful and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.As a praise dancer we are committed to offering our temples as a living sacrifice to prepare an atmosphere of worship to the glory of God. The purpose is to magnify the name of the Lord through dance.
